Job Summary
APRN will deliver psychiatric and medical services to individuals in detox and residential treatment at Boca Recovery Center in Englewood, NJ. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric and physical assessments, medication management, admissions determinations, after-hours on-call coverage, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, staff in-service trainings, performance improvement activities, peer reviews, and policy/procedure development. The role requires collaboration with executive and clinical leadership, ensuring timely documentation of assessments, orders, progress notes, and discharge summaries, and maintaining prescriptive authority and infection-control compliance within state and Joint Commission standards. Strong knowledge of addiction, dual-diagnosis treatment, trauma-informed care, and proficiency with electronic health records are essential, along with excellent communication and culturally sensitive patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as an APRN in the state of New Jersey
- Active NPI and DEA registration
- Current CPR certification
- Maintains all state-required certifications and licenses
- Maintain a current collaborative agreement and prescriptive authority with the Medical Director
