Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive health assessments, perform physical examinations, and diagnose acute or chronic illnesses for up to 32 patients weekly in the pain clinic. Manage medication refills, review referrals, input orders, and prescribe medications while interpreting diagnostic test results. Develop individualized care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care. Educate patients and families on preventive measures and lifestyle modifications. Maintain state licensure, national certification, and continuing education to adhere to regulatory compliance and evidence-based practice standards. Uphold core values of Kansas Spine and Specialty Hospital through professional, courteous interactions with staff and patients.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing with specialization in the chosen APRN role
- Current and valid state nursing license
- National certification in the specific APRN role
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team
