Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will provide comprehensive care in addiction medicine, specializing in substance use disorders, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery. Requires Ohio APRN license and experience in detox or residential settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio APRN license in good standing with prescriptive authority (CTP or CTP-E)
- Substance use disorder treatment experience
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team leadership ability
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in detox or residential addiction treatment settings (minimum 3 years preferred)
- MAT credentialing: DEA X-waiver or ability to obtain
- Advanced clinical knowledge of addiction pharmacology and withdrawal management protocols
- Understanding of OhioMHAS regulations and Joint Commission standards
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
- Crisis intervention skills
- Training in de-escalation or trauma-informed care models
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Additional Requirements
- Must have active Ohio APRN license
- Must obtain DEA X-waiver for prescribing MAT medications
