Job Summary
Weekend PRN Advanced Practice Provider to perform comprehensive histories, physicals, medical assessments, and diagnostic/treatment planning within AFC franchised urgent/primary care; responsibilities include ordering labs/imaging, formulating diagnoses, initiating therapy or referrals, providing emergency stabilization when needed, and delivering patient education and guidance to patients and families; must hold board certification (ANCC/AANP/NCCPA) and active PA/NP licensure with DEA and state-controlled substance certification; ability to multi-task, work independently, and collaborate with other providers; flexible weekend schedule in a walk-in care setting across AFC locations.
Required Qualifications
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice
- DEA number
- state-controlled substance certificate
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
