Job Summary
Part-time Advanced Practice Provider in psychiatry (remote) to conduct 60-minute psychiatry assessments and 30-minute follow-ups for Virginia patients. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including controlled substances, within regulatory guidelines. Integrate brief psychotherapy when appropriate and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and leadership to implement integrated care plans. Use data-informed, measurement-based care to tailor treatment and improve outcomes, while supporting a flexible schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. Start mid-August 2026; compensation ranges by location with tiered hourly pay and ramp onboarding. Requires PMHNP-BC, Virginia license, active DEA license, 2+ years of PMHNP experience, and remote telepsychiatry experience; cross-licensing support available.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Licensed to practice in Virginia as a PMHNP
- Active DEA license in Virginia
- 2+ years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP
- Experience delivering remote telepsychiatry services
- Cross-licensing with other states (preferred) and company-supported cross-licensing process
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses to support expansion
- Ability to conduct 60-minute psychiatry assessments and 30-minute follow-up sessions remotely
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including controlled substances
- Experience integrating brief psychotherapy when clinically appropriate
- Collaborative, measurement-based care approach
- Proficiency with EHR and HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platforms
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
