Job Summary
Assess physical needs of patients in an urgent care setting while collaborating with physicians. Order, interpret, and record results of clinical tests, then prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic treatments. Apply extensive experience and judgment to plan goals across a variety of illnesses, functioning as a consultant, facilitator, educator, change agent, program designer, and resource person to a defined patient population and caregivers. Requires a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nursing Program, one year of family medicine or minor emergency care experience, and a current Kansas Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Master of Science Degree from an accredited Nursing Program
- Current Kansas Physician Assistant license (PA-C)
- Current Kansas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license (APRN)
Desired Qualifications
- One year family medicine clinic or minor emergency care experience
