Job Summary
The Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) at Sentara Medical Group provides health care services in a walk-in Urgent Care center, including health assessments, prescribing/treating, occupational medicine regulatory exams, and procedures under physician supervision.role requires flexibility for weekends, evenings, holidays, and 12-hour shifts, and may move between regional Urgent Care locations. Maintains continuing education credits, prescriptive authority, and engages in QA/utilization management activities. NRCME not required at offer but expected within 30 days.
