Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider will deliver comprehensive direct patient care in the Genitourinary Oncology Program. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and diagnoses, initiating medical treatments, managing a caseload of patients, performing independent interventions, and documenting care according to guidelines. The role requires familiarity with clinical research trials and protocols, effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, and skills in patient education. Candidates must have skills in conducting physical examinations, proficiency in computerized health records, and the ability to manage communications and reports related to patient care. Continuous education and clinical competency are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Current and/or eligible for State of Illinois licensure/registration
- Eligibility to be privileged and credentialed through the Medical Staff Office (MSO)
- Apply for a mid-level practitioner controlled substance license and DEA number after licensing
