Advanced Practice Provider - Thoracic Medical Oncology (Outpatient)

Job Summary
Obtains health histories, performs physical examinations, and manages comprehensive care for thoracic oncology patients in primary, acute, and complex settings. Orders, interprets, and utilizes diagnostic procedures to form differential diagnoses and prescribe therapeutic interventions including pharmacologic, non-pharmacologic, and surgical treatments. Facilitates patient transitions between health care settings and initiates appropriate referrals within the Division of Hematology/Oncology. Works four days per week in clinic (8am-5pm) with one administrative day, with no call, nights, or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- LIC-Licensed Nurse Practitioner - Tennessee
- LIC-Physician's Assistant Certified - Tennessee
- LIC-Registered Nurse - Tennessee
- Relevant Work Experience
- Less than 1 year
