Job Summary
Diagnose and manage substance use disorders and associated comorbidities while collaborating with physicians, therapists, and Medical Assistants to formulate and execute coordinated care plans. Deliver patient-centered advocacy using Motivational Interviewing principles and practice cutting-edge SUD therapies under the guidance of specialty-trained addiction experts. Pioneer novel access methods for disadvantaged populations and provide occasional cross-coverage for inpatient consult APPs as needed. Maintain a lifelong learning mindset to stay informed on medical advancements and ensure seamless care delivery in a supportive, evidence-based model. Monday through Friday, 8:30a - 5:00p CST, with a salary of $130,000 - $145,000 plus a 5% performance bonus.
Required Qualifications
- NP (FNP, AGNP, PMHNP) or PA-C (Internal, Family, Emergency Medicine experience)
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience as a provider
- Comprehensive medical and/or psychiatric evaluation & management experience in substance use disorder treatment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and confidently manage a full patient panel
- Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities
- Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexible, can-do mentality
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity sufficient to perform medical procedures, assess patients, and use electronic health record systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone
- Ability to respond quickly and calmly to urgent or emergency situations in the clinic
- Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 5:00p CST schedule

- 5% monthly performance based bonus
