Job Summary
Part-time Advanced Practice Provider in pediatric pulmonology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Provide comprehensive patient care for children and teens under supervising physician, including comprehensive histories and physical exams, development of treatment plans, ordering/interpretation of tests, referrals to other providers, and education for patients and families. Role emphasizes collaboration, coordination, quality, professional development, and research/education activities within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure in GA or multi-state licensure via the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- APRN licensure in GA or Physician Assistant licensure in GA
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ANCC/AANP/PNCB/NCCPA); Family Nurse Practitioner certification may be acceptable with approval
- BLS certification on hire
- PALS certification within 60 days of hire for applicable roles
- Knowledge of Georgia Scope of Practice for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
- 2 years pediatric healthcare experience preferred
