Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for walk-in/urgent care settings in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities include taking comprehensive histories, forming diagnoses, ordering labs/imaging, initiating therapy or referrals, implementing emergency stabilization, interpreting data for patient management, and providing patient/family education. Requires state licensure as PA or NP, DEA and state CS certificate as applicable; DOT Certification preferred. Flexible, part-time PRN schedule with collaborative care alongside other providers; on-site labs and X-ray available at AFC centers.
Required Qualifications
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice
- DEA number
- state-controlled substance certificate (as required)
- DOT Certification preferred
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred outside of clinical rotations)
