Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider in Physiatry provides primary care in a clinic setting as an assistant to physicians. Responsibilities include performing complete physical exams, recording findings, collaborating with physicians to manage acute and long-term medical needs, interpreting data to determine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, obtaining medical history, ordering laboratory and diagnostic tests, administering medications and injections, suturing minor lacerations, advising patients on health and disease prevention, providing patient education, maintaining medical records, triaging telephone calls, and participating in professional development. Requires licensure as an APRN, NP, or PA and a college degree with professional certification or a graduate degree; two to five years of primary care experience preferred, with new graduates credentialed welcome.

- Licensure as an APRN, NP, or PA is required
- Education: Equivalent to a college degree and a professional certificate or a graduate degree
- Two years to five years of primary care experience preferred
- Can be new graduate who is credentialed
