Advanced Practice Provider - Pediatric Neurosurgery (Inpatient1)

Job Summary
Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for pediatric neurosurgery patients across inpatient, OR, and ambulatory settings. Collaborate closely with neurosurgery faculty, residents, and interdisciplinary teams to contribute to program administration, patient safety, and quality improvement. Support research initiatives and participate in teaching activities within a multidisciplinary health care team. Work primarily at the Milwaukee Campus with periodic clinic visits in Appleton. The role offers Monday through Friday scheduling with flexibility for coverage, excluding clinical weekends and holidays. This position supports a Level I Children's Surgery Verification Center and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, serving diverse patient populations from premature infants through young adults.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited organization
- Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure
- Wisconsin RN Licensure
- Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- DEA registration (if required for the position)
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from a nationally accredited professional nursing organization
- Physician Assistant Wisconsin Physician Assistant License
- Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Monday - Friday schedule
- Scheduling flexibility required to provide an appropriate level of patient care coverage
- No clinical weekend and/or holiday requirements
- 1.0 FTE
- Salaried (Exempt)
