Advanced Practice Provider - OP/IP

Advanced Practice Provider – Outpatient is responsible for the comprehensive medical management of assigned patients, exercises prudent clinical judgment, follows treatment protocols, writes orders/medications, orders and interprets labs and radiographic studies, and seeks appropriate consultation with supervising physicians. Collaborates with nursing and support staff, serves as a patient advocate, provides patient education and referrals, ensures continuity of care, and communicates effectively with the supervising physician. The role includes inpatient duties every other weekend (4 days on, 10 days off) and on-site responsibilities at the Flint, MI location.
