Job Summary
Provide direct care for pulmonary and interventional pulmonology patients as part of the Pulmonary and Interventional Pulmonology team. Conduct H&Ps, order/interpret diagnostics, formulate diagnoses, and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Assist with patient selection, education, and follow-up for advanced interventional pulmonology procedures. Educate patients and families on disease management, treatments, and procedures. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, integrated care. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
- Master's in Nursing from an accredited NP program
- Current, unrestricted TN RN and APRN licenses (or eligible)
- 3-5 years clinical nursing practice in an acute care setting
- 1-3 years previous experience as a NP in an acute or primary care setting
- American Heart Association BLS required
