Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate)

Job Summary
Deliver preventive, primary, and acute healthcare services to patients of all ages, including comprehensive assessments, treatment plan development, and management of common acute and chronic health problems. Perform preoperative risk assessments by obtaining histories and physicals, ordering diagnostic studies, and collaborating with cardiology, anesthesiology, and other specialties to optimize patients prior to surgery. Conduct daytime clinical coverage Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-oriented care while maintaining independent practice within departmental workflows. Manage indirect activities such as EPIC in-basket coverage, chart closure, and patient care coordination with surgical teams and anesthesia providers.
Required Qualifications
- Master Degree in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing in the specialty of Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG ACNP) from an accredited program
- Current RN and NP licensure with the Oregon Board of Nursing
- Current ANCC Certification in the area of specialization
- Current ACLS certification
- DEA certification
- Master Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Current PA licensure with the Oregon Medical Board
- Current NCCPA Certification
- Current ACLS certification
- DEA certification
- 3-5 years of previous experience as provider in critical care setting, ideally with experience in a medical intensive care setting
- interest in learning advanced clinical skills required to practice in the ICU environment
