Job Summary
Provide specialty medical care to adult vascular patients in the outpatient setting, including pre- and post-operative management, routine surveillance, and wound care. Work independently on a clinic schedule while collaborating with eight vascular surgeons and other specialty teams such as interventional radiology and cardiac surgery. Directly report to the APP Manager and contribute to program administration, patient safety, and quality improvement within the multidisciplinary Vascular & Endovascular Surgery division.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Nurse: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization
- Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited organization
- Advanced Practice Nurse/ Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Wisconsin RN License
- Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- DEA registration
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from a nationally accredited professional nursing organization
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP (AGACNP)
- Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP (AGPCNP)
- Family NP (FNP)
- Physician Assistant Wisconsin Physician Assistant License
- Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
