Advanced Practice Provider - NP or PA

Job Summary
Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop safe, balanced pain management treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose pain conditions, and treat patients using evidence-based, minimally invasive therapies. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications per state regulations, and maintain accurate electronic health records. Initiate referrals when patient needs exceed scope of practice and participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives. Work within a fast-paced, physician-led environment in Asheville, Marion, Waynesville, or Murphy, NC, with possible travel to other clinic locations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Current NCCPA certification
- AANP or ANCC certification
- Active and unrestricted state PA or APRN license
- DEA registration with Schedule II authority
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to perform patient examinations and operate standard clinical and office equipment
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Regular and predictable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of APP clinical experience
- Experience in pain management or interventional specialty care
- eClinicalWorks experience
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (AANP Certification)
- CPR certification for Health Care Providers
- Desire to work as part of a team environment
