Job Summary
Collaborate with physicians to develop safe, balanced pain management treatment plans and perform comprehensive patient assessments. Diagnose and order minimally-invasive procedures to address pain root causes, while ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Maintain accurate electronic health records, initiate referrals when needed, and counsel patients on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and side effects. Review documentation to evaluate care effectiveness and ensure compliance with Georgia licensure and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current AANP or NCCPA certification (as applicable)
- Active and unrestricted Georgia license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for patient-centered care and collaborative practice
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (AANP Certification)
- Maintains current and unrestricted state license with a DEA with Schedule II
- ACLS and BLS certification required
