Job Summary
Monitor radiology patients receiving contrast for safety and address reactions immediately. Contact patients pre-procedure for instructions and readiness assessment, then follow up post-procedure to monitor side effects and complications. Provide IV starts for radiology procedures or other medical needs as required. Maintain accurate patient records including pre- and post-procedure assessments and intervention notes. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care within the Interventional Radiology team.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State NP or PA licensure
- Certification as an NP (e.g., ANCC) or PA (e.g., NCCPA)
- Board Certifications: NP-C/PA-C

- Experienced APPs
- New Grads
- Prior experience in Radiology or procedural settings
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Proficiency in patient assessment and care management
