Job Summary
The Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers advanced nursing care for the Neurosurgery population in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Responsibilities include managing patient care, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams. The APP evaluates health statuses, analyzes data for identifying health issues, and coordinates comprehensive care. The role also involves facilitating patient education and transitioning care across service units. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited PA/APRN program and certification as a nurse practitioner, along with maintaining competencies as outlined in state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited PA/APRN program.
- Must maintain Registered Nurse competencies as designated by Federal and State organizations.
- Must have valid APRN licensure.
- Be certified as a nurse practitioner by a recognized national certifying body.
