Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider in Hamilton Physician Group will take medical histories, perform exams, diagnose, order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging (labs, X-ray, CT, MRI), prescribe medications and ancillary services, provide patient education, and collaborate with a supervising physician or ARNP/PA. Role emphasizes clinical competency, leadership, and effective communication within a health‐care team at Hamilton Medical Center network in Dalton, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner program
- Registered PA or APRN license, or eligible for license, in state of Georgia
- AHA BLS CPR required
- Two years’ experience preferred
- Demonstration of clinical competency in the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner role
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team
