Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider III in a Santa Barbara OB/GYN clinic delivers direct patient care under CMG leadership, functioning independently and in collaboration with supervising physicians. Responsibilities include assessing, interpreting findings, and developing diagnostic, educational, and therapeutic management plans for patients, with strong emphasis on clinical judgment across biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological aspects. Works with ancillary services, clinic staff, and external contacts to ensure timely patient flow and coordination of care. Preferred bilingual English/Spanish; EPIC EMR experience; licensure as NP/PA or equivalent in California; CNOR preferred for NPs in surgery; minimal two years of PA/NP experience or specialty experience. Therapeutic and diagnostic decision-making plus robust customer service and cross-functional collaboration are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: Master’s degree for PA or NP (as defined by CA boards)
- Current California Licensure and relevant certification (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or RN with CNM) or equivalent
- AHA BLS for Health Care Providers within 45 days
- Minimum: Two (2) years of PA or NP experience or specialty experience in clinic/inpatient settings
