Advanced Practice Provider General Surgery

Provide clinical and surgical duties in a busy plastic surgery practice under the supervision of a Plastic Surgeon. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, reviewing medical histories, assisting with surgeries and inpatient rounding, coordinating with physicians to assess patient conditions, ensuring timely charting and administrative tasks, maintaining same-day care for acute illnesses, contributing to clinic policies, staying current with procedures, attending required meetings, ordering labs/imaging, ensuring care continuity, and educating patients/families on medications and treatment instructions. Must participate in professional development and maintain professional affiliations; on-call duties shared with surgeon and two APPs. Requires PA program graduate, state licensure, board certification, DEA/NPI/prescriptive authority, and BLS certification.
