Job Summary
Provide care for complex patients with GI malignancies in curative and end-of-life settings, including performing problem-focused health and physical exams. Evaluate and manage on-treatment and post-treatment side effects, long-term surveillance, and survivorship issues while performing procedures according to licensure and scope of practice. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, effective treatment and ensure continuity of care. Participate in patient rounds, conferences, committees, and cancer clinical research. Deliver education to patients, caregivers, and peers. Work under the supervision of an attending physician within the scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program awarding a Master's degree
- Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed to practice in the state of Washington
- DEA license upon credentialing/start
- ACLS within 3 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- One year of ARNP or PA-C experience in Medical Oncology
