Job Summary
The Geriatric Emergency Advanced Practice Provider will provide comprehensive care for older adults, including patient evaluations, conducting history and physical examinations, prescription writing, and interpreting laboratory and radiological tests. The role involves supervising NP, PA, health science, and medical students, along with engaging in quality improvement initiatives and supporting ED staff education. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to demonstrate professionalism in challenging situations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies
- Current NCCPA certification and D.C. licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Current ANCC certification and D.C. licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Previous experience preferred
