Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider will perform clinical patient care services, including evaluation, problem identification, diagnosis, and therapeutic procedures under physician supervision. Responsible for performing history and physical examinations, writing prescriptions, interpreting lab data, and monitoring patient status. Requires a Master's degree in nursing or as a physician assistant, along with current certifications and D.C. licensure. Previous ER experience is preferred, and the role includes supervising NP, PA, and medical students.
Required Qualifications
- Current NCCPA certification and D.C. licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Current ANCC certification and D.C. licensure as an NP
- Master's degree in nursing for NP or Master's degree as a physician assistant for PA
Desired Qualifications
- 2-5 years of ER experience preferred
- Procedural experience preferred
