Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider in Emergency Medicine is responsible for clinical patient care including evaluations, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and management of stable and chronic illnesses. Key responsibilities include performing history and physical examinations, writing prescriptions, documenting findings, recommending interventions, and providing patient education. Qualifications include a Master's degree in nursing or as a physician assistant, relevant licensure, and at least 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience. The ideal candidate should have procedural experience and be able to work efficiently in a clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing for NP or Master's degree as a physician assistant for PA
- Current NCCPA certification and D.C. licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Current ANCC certification and D.C. licensure as an NP
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience
