Advanced Practice Provider - Critical Care Medicine

Advanced Practice Provider for Pediatric Critical Care at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Responsible for comprehensive pediatric care through assessment, clinical management, collaboration with physicians, education, program development, research, quality, and professional development. Responsibilities include histories and physicals, ordering/interpretation of tests, developing treatment plans, serving as an educational resource for families and staff, and coordinating referrals. Requires APRN or PA licensure in Georgia, PN/NP or PA certification, BLS, and PALS within 60 days for certain roles; eligible for a Doctorate in Nursing Practice or Master's/Doctorate in medical science education; strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, safety, and compliance with Joint Commission standards. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills essential. Primary location is Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at 2220 North Druid Hills Road, Atlanta, GA, with on-site inpatient/ambulatory care responsibilities.
