Advanced Practice Provider - Crisis PT (Sat/H

Part-time Advanced Practice Provider in the Crisis Center overseeing the continuum of crisis services (ICSS) including Crisis Stabilization Unit, Behavioral Health Urgent Care, and Mobile Crisis Services. Performs direct clinical duties such as psychiatric evaluation, medication orders/prescribing, and coordination of medical services; provides supervision of mobile crisis team, discharge planning, teaching of NP/PA students, and participation in QA and interdisciplinary collaboration. Requires a Master's Degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing or an MSN with PMH Board Certification eligibility, or a Bachelor's degree with AMA-approved Physician Assistant program and licensure. Michigan licensure as either PMHNP or PA (with certification), or RN with PMHNP credentials, plus DEA, BLS, and valid Michigan driver's license. Shift includes Saturdays and holidays with potential travel to different sites; work is primarily at the Crisis Center with possible site visits around Wayne County and the State of Michigan. Strong knowledge of local policies, evidence-based psychiatric care, and ability to work with diverse populations is required.
