Job Summary

Perform complex and problem-focused H & P's, evaluate and manage on-treatment and post-treatment side effects, and conduct long-term surveillance for adult oncology patients at Northwest Hospital. Order laboratory and radiographic studies, prescribe medications, and refer patients to specialists while managing side effects of systemic therapy and radiation. Collaborate with inpatient and outpatient teams, participate in patient rounds and committees, and conduct cancer clinical research. Provide patient, caregiver, and peer education, offering psychological support through teaching and referrals to community resources. Lead clinical staff and ensure continuity of care across GI, Lung, GU, Breast, and Hematologic Malignancies services.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program awarding a Master's degree
  • Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Washington
  • DEA license upon credentialing/start
  • ACLS within 3 months of hire

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 year of ARNP or PA-C experience in Medical Oncology
