Job Summary
Provide direct clinical services for obstetric and gynecological patients using evidence-based standards under attending supervision. Perform bedside procedures, manage medication reconciliation for admissions, and order/interpret diagnostic tests. Execute Rapid Response, Cardiac Arrest, Stroke, Sepsis, and Pain codes independently. Document patient plans, progress notes, and procedure logs accurately. Assess family coping skills and explain procedures to patients, families, and students. Adhere to hospital policies, participate in continuing medical education, and demonstrate ethical decision-making and critical thinking.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or MPA degree in accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current registration with NY Education Dept. as Physician Assistant
- NCCPA Certification
- ACLS
- BLS
- Infection Control Certificate
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years' experience preferred
