Job Summary
Experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C) sought to join a single-hospital cardiothoracic program in the Pacific Northwest. Responsibilities include endoscopic vein harvest, cardiac surgery first assist, Robotic thoracic surgery bedside first assist, and ICU/PCU/medical-surgical rounds within a traditional sternotomy-based and minimally invasive cardiac/ thoracic surgery service. Procedures include all lung resections with DaVinci XI robot and robotic foregut/esophagus work, with an APP-driven service and occasional general surgery resident rotations. Requires WA PA license (or ability to obtain) and CPR/BLS; ACLS preferred or obtainable. Candidates should have 1+ years of cardiothoracic APP experience and be comfortable in ICU management and perioperative care.
Required Qualifications
- Current WA state license PA (or ability to obtain)
- 1+ years APP cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
- Endoscopic vein harvest highly preferred
- Open radial harvest – desired, but willing to train
- Robotic thoracic/cardiac surgery – desired, but willing to train
- ICU patient management experience – ventilator, drips, etc.
- CPR/BLS + ACLS – (or ability to obtain) - required
