Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider in cardiothoracic surgery, working with a team to provide quality care. You will assist surgeons during procedures, perform radial artery and saphenous vein harvesting, place Foley catheters and invasive lines, discharge Same Day or PACU patients, participate in daily team rounding, and handle clinic responsibilities including new H&P and surgical follow-ups. Q3 call includes weekend rounding and being first call for the nursing floor. APP degree from a fully accredited program; 1-2 years of First Assist APP experience; CT experience with EVH; Colorado license (or ability to obtain); BLS and DEA; credentialing process. Location: Grand Junction, CO; PRN schedule.
Required Qualifications
- APP degree from a fully accredited program
- 1-2 years of experience as a First Assist APP
- 1 year experience in CT with proven independence in EVH
- Active Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification
- DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
