Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider in cardiothoracic surgery joins a nationally recognized health system, assisting surgeons in CT procedures, performing EVH vein harvesting, placing Foley catheters and invasive lines, discharging Same Day or PACU patients, and conducting daily team rounds. Clinic duties include new H&Ps and surgical follow ups with Q3 weekend call. Compensation includes base salary plus call pay, with benefits such as PTO, license reimbursement, malpractice coverage, and CME allowance. Requires APP degree from an accredited program, 1-2 years First Assist APP experience, 1 year CT experience with EVH independence, Colorado license eligibility, BLS, DEA, and successful credentialing. Location is Grand Junction, CO at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital within Intermountain Health, with a PRN schedule and salary range of $125,000 - $193,000 dependent on experience.
Required Qualifications
- APP degree from a fully accredited program
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a First Assist APP required
- 1 year experience in CT with proven independence in EVH
- Active Colorado license or ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
- Ability to complete credentialing process
