Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider in cardiothoracic surgery assists surgeons in procedures, performs radial artery and saphenous vein harvesting, discharges Same Day or PACU patients, conducts daily team rounding, and handles clinic new H&Ps and follow-ups. Requires an APP degree, 1-2 years of CT-first-assist experience with independence in EVH, active Colorado license (or ability to obtain), BLS, DEA, and successful credentialing. Schedule is Monday–Friday with 4 10-hour days and 1:3 call; includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus, $7,500 relocation assistance, and CME support. Location is St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO; salary range $125k–$193k with potential CME and call pay considerations.
Required Qualifications
- APP degree from a fully accredited program
- 1-2 years of experience as a First Assist APP
- 1 year experience in CT with proven independence in EVH
- Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete credentialing process
