Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider in cardiothoracic surgery with CT team support: assist surgeons in procedures, performRadial Artery and Saphenous vein harvesting, discharge Same Day or PACU patients, daily team rounding, clinic responsibilities including new H&P and surgical follow ups. Schedule consists of Mon-Fri 4, 10's with 1:3 call for nights/weekends; base salary plus call pay, CME allowance, sign-on bonus of $10,000 and relocation assistance of $7,500 when applicable. Located at St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, working with 3 CT surgeons and a collaborative APP team. Requires CT surgery experience, independence in EVH, Colorado license, BLS, and DEA; credentialing process with Intermountain Health; competitive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- APP degree from a fully accredited program
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a First Assist APP
- 1 year experience in CT with proven independence in EVH
- Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
