Job Summary

Greet patients at the clinic, listen to their concerns, and obtain complete medical histories while performing physical exams and recording findings accurately. Collaborate with physicians to manage acute and long-term medical needs, round on hospital patients, and assist in complex surgical cases. Expertly manage medical and surgical emergencies, interpret diagnostic data, order laboratory studies and x-rays, and review results with the supervising physician. Submit patient care plans, provide medication prescriptions, and counsel patients and families on health promotion, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment instructions.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate program
  • Current California licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
