Job Summary
Provide urgent care and primary care services to patients of all ages. Conduct physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans. Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging. Prescribe medications and educate patients on treatment options. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system. Maintain compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Tennessee
- FNP certification preferred
- 3-4 years of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience
- Proficiency in minor procedures
- Telemedicine familiarity
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain
