Job Summary
Outpatient Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider position in American Fork, Utah. Support a team delivering high-quality mental health care with PMHNP-BC or PA credentials, outpatient clinic duties, and a Monday–Friday, 8–5 schedule. Responsibilities include providing psychiatric/mental health care to patients of all ages, ensuring credentialing and licensure requirements are met, maintaining clinical excellence, and contributing to a comprehensive benefits package. Preferred candidates have 1+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider and hold the necessary board certification or postgraduate qualifications in psychiatry/mental health. Visa sponsorship considered case-by-case. Location: American Fork Specialty Clinic, American Fork, Utah.
Required Qualifications
- PMHNP-BC certification (for Nurse Practitioners)
- MSN or DNP with a post-graduate certificate in psychiatry/mental health (if primary specialty other than psychiatry)
- Certification of Added Qualification in psychiatry (for Physician Assistants) or post-graduate residency in psychiatry with appropriate board outcomes
- post-graduate certificate program for physician assistants to practice within psychiatric and mental health care, or post-graduate residency in psychiatry
- licensure requirements: active, unobstructed Utah medical license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification and DEA registration
- minimum of 10,000 hours of clinical practice in mental health (for PA path)
- one year or more post-training work experience in mental health
