Job Summary
Conduct physical examinations, update patient histories, and formulate diagnosis and treatment plans for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Order ancillary services, review diagnostic test results with patients, and provide treatments and procedures as appropriate. Counsel patients to support treatment plan compliance and notify the supervising physician for referrals or emergent care. Document patient care, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and participate in team conferences and data collection. Complete coded fee tickets and promote excellent customer service within the American Canyon Urgent Care Clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for Urgent Care or Primary Care
- Advanced education and training in the care of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of California
- Work in our American Canyon Urgent Care Clinic
- Works under the direction of a licensed physician
- Directed by standardized protocols and procedures
- Collaboration with the supervising physician
