Job Summary
Advanced Practice Professional in Hematology/Oncology responsible for comprehensive patient evaluations and coordination of care in infusion center and ambulatory settings; conducts daily rounds and pre-treatment evaluations, participates in inpatient/outpatient care, orders and interprets tests following clinical guidelines, and communicates results; develops and reviews individualized plans of care with the clinical team; provides education to nursing staff, residents, and students; mentors and leads in program development, quality/performance improvement, clinical trials participation, and collaboration across disciplines; demonstrates strong critical thinking, teaching, and communication skills, and maintains adherence to policies and standards in a high-acuity hematology/oncology setting.
