Job Summary
Provide patient care, consultation, evaluation, and education across assigned units while supporting daily patient flow to optimize safety and satisfaction. Maintain confidentiality and ensure documentation aligns with accreditation standards. Deliver triage, diagnosis, and treatment within established scope of practice, delegating care per Colorado statute. Demonstrate competency in assessment and promote healthy lifestyle choices through patient education. Interact professionally with patients, families, providers, and leadership to foster collaboration. Adhere to Vail Health standards and the Colorado Nurse Practice Act. Two years of APP experience preferred; ARC-PA or NP program degree required. Hourly pay ranges from $115,668.80 to $140,920.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or a predecessor/successor agency acceptable to the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners.
- Successful completion of a masters or post-master's degree from a nurse practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
Desired Qualifications
- Two years experience as an APP in related area preferred.
