Job Summary
Provide reproductive health care as an Advanced Practice Nurse (NP) or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in a role focused on abortion care, including direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up. Responsibilities include comprehensive physical exams with a focus on reproductive health, onboarding with ultrasound training, cancer screenings, STI diagnosis/treatment, contraceptive counseling, abortion care support (counseling, referrals, scheduling, direct provision), and delivering trauma-informed, patient-centered care per PPRM standards. Must hold active state licensure with prescriptive authority (DEA preferred in CO), and be eligible for credentialing with Medicaid and other payors. Travel for paid training may be required. Schedule is part-time with flexible days, on-site in Denver, CO, with competitive pay and benefits, and the position is union-represented under SEIU Local 105.
Required Qualifications
- Active NP or CNM license in the state where care will be provided (e.g., Colorado or New Mexico) with prescriptive authority
- 1+ year experience in reproductive health or related experience with PPRM
- Willing to obtain DEA certification
- Credentialing with Medicaid and other payors (no restrictions)
- Completes in-house ultrasound training within 1 year if practicing
- Starting pay: $49.23–$65.16/hour (based on experience) with +$2.25/hour for Spanish fluency (upon passing test)
- Part-time schedule ~30.25 hours/week; on-site in Denver, CO
- Union represented by SEIU, Local 105
- Abortion care involvement including counseling, referrals, scheduling, and direct provision
- Trauma-informed, patient-centered care in alignment with PPRM standards
