Job Summary
Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in the acute inpatient Hospital Medicine service. Performs complete history and physicals, orders and interprets diagnostic data, may serve as first responder for patient status changes, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary health care team. Creates and documents plans of care for complex acute and chronically ill patients, utilizes evidence-based guidelines, may perform advanced procedures consistent with privileges, and participates in education, research, and professional development. Requires Master’s Degree and National Board Certification as ACNP/PA with BLS; per diem in a hospital setting in New Jersey.
