Job Summary
Manage thoracic patients and coordinate care across the continuum, including Pulmonary Nodule, Oncology, Lung Cancer, and Pleurx Catheter clinics. Assist the surgeon with all thoracic surgical cases, performing preoperative assessments, history and physicals, and patient education in both office and inpatient settings. Initiate post-operative inpatient management and oversee office follow-up after discharge. Requires limited on-call responsibilities. The role supports the health of patients within Beebe's vibrant coastal community, focusing on excellence in thoracic care under physician supervision.
Required Qualifications
- PHYSCASSIST - Physician Assistant
- BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
- Master of Science (MS)
- Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal
- Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs
- Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
- Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
- Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors
- Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records
