Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions to develop individualized treatment plans. Implement hands-on techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to improve mobility and manage pain. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting strategies to ensure optimal outcomes while educating patients on self-management techniques. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians to coordinate comprehensive care and stay current with evidence-based best practices through ongoing professional development. Work within an onsite facility featuring state-of-the-art equipment in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Boulder City, Nevada.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A current Nevada Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a physical therapist
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
