Job Summary
Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance are met by working in various pharmacy workstations. Fulfill orders including packaging and dispensing, review delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinate stock rotations. Partner with the function supervisor to coordinate workflow for assigned areas that prepare and process medications. Rotate through stations for Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, and Machine Packaging. Perform physical inventories of medication, pull and stage product for distribution, and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely. This part-time role at Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, supports care in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities.
Required Qualifications
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- PTCB National Certification
- Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
