Job Summary
Advanced Pharmacy Technician in Omnicare closed-door pharmacy; responsibilities include packaging and dispensing medications, reviewing delivery orders, coordinating stock rotations, and performing in multiple workstations (Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill). Duties also include receiving product deliveries, pulling and staging products for distribution, rotating stock, coordinating activities with drivers to ensure timely shipments, and performing physical inventories of medication. Requires state-registered/licensed technician and at least 1 year of technician experience; HS diploma or GED. Proficiency with pharmacy workflows and long-term care operations is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
- Education Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
